Awards

The German-language version of e-genius.at has won:

  • a Lörnie Award from bmukk for the Creative Commons approach (2011), 
  • an ÖGUT environment prize in the category “New paths in education for innovative energy technologies” (2012),
  • the Energy Globe Award Vienna in the category “Young people” (2013),
  • a Comenius Seal and the Comenius EduMedia Medal (2015).

e-genius.at formed part of the European Commission's Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign (2011-2012).

Since 2013 e-genius has also formed part of the resources collected under http://www.openeducationeuropa.eu. Open Education Europe has been launched as part of Opening Up Education, a European Commission initiative, to provide standardized access to European OERs.

e-genius is a key element in the educational initiative that forms part of the technology program “Building of the Future”, sponsored by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit).
